The Register of Agricultural Plant Material Producers

Seed material can be produced by legal or natural person's registered in the Register of producers of agricultural plant material. Conditions for registration are determined by Regulation on the way and conditions of registration in the Registers of agricultural seed and plant material (NN 40/1999).




Seedlings Production Control

Seedling production during vegetation season needs obligatory control, that will confirm origins of used repromaterial, authenticity of the variety, vegetative development and health condition.

Those things are regulated by:

  • Regulation on field inspection of agricultural plant material (NN 51/1999),
  • Regulation on amendments of Regulation on field inspection of agricultural plant material (NN 128/2000),and
  • Regulation on amendment of Regulation on field inspection of agricultural plant material (NN 60/2001).

 

Conditions for quality of seedlings

Quality of seedling material is prescribed with following regulations:

  • Regulation on basic demands for quality, way of packing, sealing, certification and conditions of keeping seedling material (NN 56/1999) and
  • Regulation on amendments of Regulation on basic demands for quality, way of packing, sealing, certification and conditions of keeping seedling material (NN 128/2000).
